A Cinematic Descent into Kowloon’s Urban Underworld

Residents Only is a hidden cocktail bar that brings the gritty romance of Kowloon Walled City into the heart of Thonglor. The interior is intentionally raw and atmospheric, layered with exposed concrete walls, visible wiring, metal grilles, and dense spatial details that evoke an urban labyrinth. Red Chinese neon signage, vintage Hong Kong–style graphics, and mahjong tables add character and cultural depth, while dim yellow-red lighting creates a moody, cinematic glow. The compact space feels intimate and immersive, blurring boundaries between past and present. Overall, the design delivers a bold, narrative-driven environment that feels underground, nostalgic, and unapologetically edgy.
